1. Purpose and Scope
This Fees Schedule (the "Schedule") is the canonical source for the identification and quantum of Platform Fees payable to Peer Creators FZ-LLC (the "Company") in respect of bookings facilitated through the Platform. It is a Platform Ancillary Document under, and forms part of, the Terms of Use (see Clauses 14, 15 and 16).
The Platform is a technology intermediary. Platform Fees are consideration for the technology and administration services provided by the Company (search, booking flow, payment orchestration, messaging, dispute administration, and trust and safety tooling). They are not consideration for the underlying venue, space, or creative service, which is supplied directly by the Host or Creator.
2. Platform Fee Structure
| Booking type | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Venue Booking | 14% | Split per Section 3.1 (11% Host commission + 3% Client service fee) |
| Service Booking | 14% | Split per Section 3.2 (11% Creator commission + 3% Client service fee) |
| Bundled Booking | 14% | Applied separately on each component (venue and service) |
The Company does not charge:
- Minimum fees.
- Listing fees, subscription fees, or membership fees.
- Verification fees.
- Ranking or promotion fees to appear higher in search results.
3. How Platform Fees Are Allocated at Settlement
3.1 Venue Bookings
For a venue booking, the 14% Platform Fee is settled as: 11% Host commission deducted from the Host's payout, plus 3% Client service fee added at checkout. The two components together equal 14% of the Booking Amount.
3.2 Service Bookings
For a service booking, the 14% Platform Fee is settled as: 11% Creator commission deducted from the Creator's payout, plus 3% Client service fee added at checkout.
3.3 Bundled Bookings
For a bundled booking (venue + service in a single checkout), the Platform Fee is calculated separately on each component and settled to the corresponding Host and Creator payouts.
3.4 Transparent Display
Fees are shown transparently to both sides before checkout. Clients see the Booking Amount, service fee, any taxes, and the total. Hosts and Creators see the Booking Amount, the commission deduction, and the net payout.
4. VAT and Corporate Tax
Value Added Tax (VAT) on Platform Fees is added by the Company where chargeable under UAE VAT law and shown separately on invoices issued to the paying party.
VAT on the Booking Amount is the responsibility of the Host or Creator supplying the underlying venue or service. Where the Host or Creator is VAT-registered, they are responsible for issuing a compliant tax invoice to the Client.
Corporate Tax obligations of each User (Client, Host, Creator) are that User's own responsibility. The Company does not act as a tax agent for any User.
5. Amounts That Are Not Platform Fees
The following amounts flow through the Platform but are not Platform Fees and do not accrue to the Company as revenue:
- The Booking Amount itself (paid to the Host or Creator).
- Refundable security deposits (held, not earned by the Company).
- Cancellation fees payable between the parties under the Cancellation Policy.
- Inconvenience credits or goodwill gestures issued to Clients.
- PSP dispute or chargeback fees passed through from Paymob.
- VAT collected on the Booking Amount, and Corporate Tax obligations of Users.
- Fines, penalties, or damages assessed under the Trust, Safety and Enforcement Policy.
6. Refunds and Non-Chargeability of Platform Fees
Platform Fees are refunded to the Client in the following scenarios:
- Within the 24-hour free cancellation grace period after booking confirmation.
- Where the Host or Creator cancels the booking.
- Where the Host or Creator no-shows or fails to deliver.
- Where the listing was materially misdescribed and the Client cancels for that reason.
- Where a qualifying Major Disruptive Event (MDE) applies to the booking.
- Where refund is required by applicable law or by the UAE Consumer Protection framework.
Platform Fees are not refunded in any other Client-initiated cancellation. Where the Cancellation Policy entitles the Client to a partial refund of the Booking Amount, the 3% Client service fee remains chargeable in respect of the technology services already rendered (search, booking, payment orchestration).
See Cancellation & Refund Policy (Section 2.4) for the full refund matrix, and the Damage Deposit Policy for treatment of deposit holds.
7. Amendments to This Schedule
The Company may amend this Schedule on prior written notice: at least 14 days for consumer Users, and at least 30 days for commercial Users. Amendments apply prospectively. Bookings confirmed before an amendment take effect are settled at the Platform Fee rate in force at the time of confirmation.
8. Bespoke Enterprise Pricing
Enterprise clients, agencies, and large Hosts or Creator Pros may negotiate custom rates and settlement terms directly with the Company. Bespoke arrangements are recorded in a written commercial agreement that overrides this Schedule to the extent of any conflict.
9. Promotions, Credits and Waivers
The Company may run promotional Platform Fee reductions, waivers, or introductory zero-commission periods (for example, the Founding Partners programme). Promotional terms are published alongside the offer and, if inconsistent with this Schedule, prevail for the duration of the promotion only.
Inconvenience credits issued by the Company are redeemable against future bookings on the Platform within 12 months of issuance. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and expire on the earlier of the 12-month anniversary or account closure.
10. Miscellaneous
The Company is not a deposit-taking institution and does not hold Client funds on trust beyond the transient processing period required to route payments through Paymob to the correct recipient.
The Company may set off Platform Fees, refunds, chargebacks, and damages against amounts otherwise payable to a Host or Creator, in the manner set out in the Terms of Use.
Nothing in this Schedule limits rights that consumers cannot waive under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.
Questions about a specific invoice or payout should be sent to finance@peercreators.com.
