Purpose and Scope
This Trust, Safety, Reporting and Enforcement Policy forms part of the Peer Creators Policy Pack and is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Use and Conditions (Clause 9.3). It sets out the procedures for reporting, investigating, and enforcing breaches of the Policy Pack, Community Guidelines, and applicable law on the Peer Creators marketplace.
It applies to all Users — Space Hosts, Creator Pros, Clients, invitees, and any other person who accesses or uses the Platform. For the purposes of this Policy, "Company", "we", "us" or "our" means Peer Creators FZ-LLC; "Business Day" means a day (other than Friday, Saturday or a public holiday) on which banks are open for general business in Dubai, UAE; and "Platform" means the Peer Creators website and related services.
This Policy works alongside the Dispute Resolution Policy, the Prohibited Activities and Acceptable Use Policy, and the other Incorporated Policies.
Reporting Breaches
Anyone who observes or experiences conduct that may violate the Policy Pack, Community Guidelines, or applicable law may report it. We accept reports through three channels:
Website Report button
The fastest channel. Tap the Report button on any listing, profile, booking thread, or message to attach context automatically.
Support channel
Open a support ticket from your account menu. Include the booking or listing reference and a short description.
Dedicated email
Send reports directly to safety@peercreators.com from a registered email address, or include enough detail for us to identify the matter.
A helpful report includes the following information:
- The booking, listing, message, profile, or transaction reference, if available;
- A clear description of what happened, including dates, times, and locations;
- Supporting evidence, such as screenshots, photographs, messages, receipts, or third-party documents; and
- The specific policy or rule the reporter believes has been breached, and the outcome sought.
You do not need to be a registered User to report unlawful or harmful conduct, but anonymous reports may limit our ability to follow up or verify context. We will acknowledge receipt of every report within 24 hours.
Anonymous reporting
The on the website Report button can be used without identifying the reporter to the reported party. Where permitted by law and safety considerations, we will not disclose the reporter's identity. Anonymous reports are still investigated, but our ability to gather follow-up evidence may be reduced.
Reporter protections and anti-retaliation
We prohibit retaliation against anyone who submits a report in good faith. Retaliation includes threats, harassment, negative reviews, adverse booking decisions, or account action taken because a person reported a concern. Retaliation is itself a violation and may result in immediate enforcement, up to and including account termination.
Reports made in good faith are not grounds for defamation, civil liability, or breach of contract, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We may share report status with the reporter at our discretion and subject to confidentiality obligations.
Investigation and Triage
Once a report is received, it is triaged based on the nature of the alleged breach, the level of risk, and the evidence available. We assign one of the following priority levels:
| Priority | Examples | Target response time |
|---|---|---|
| High | Criminal conduct, child endangerment, threats of violence, physical safety risks, or imminent unlawful activity. | Within 4 hours |
| Standard | Unlicensed activity, circumvention of Platform fees, fraud, financial misrepresentation, or misdescription of listings or services. | Within 48 hours |
| Low | Minor policy breaches, tone disputes, or non-safety issues that do not create immediate risk. | Within 5 Business Days |
During the investigation, we may review Platform messages, listings, booking records, payment data, identity verification records, and any evidence submitted by the parties. We may contact the reporter, the reported party, or third parties to obtain additional information. We may also request documentation, such as trade licences, permits, insurance certificates, or police reports.
We investigate allegations objectively and apply the Policy Pack as written. We do not provide legal advice to either party. Where a matter is also subject to the Dispute Resolution Policy, the investigation may run in parallel with or inform the dispute process, but the Trust & Safety process is focused on Platform policy enforcement, not civil liability between Users.
Enforcement Decisions
After investigation, we apply an enforcement decision proportionate to the breach, the harm caused, the user's history, and any mitigating or aggravating factors. The enforcement ladder is a progressive escalation, not a mandatory sequence. We may move directly to a stronger measure where the risk or harm justifies it.
The report is unsubstantiated, resolved informally, or no policy violation is identified.
A formal notice recorded on the account. No operational restriction, but repeated warnings escalate.
Specific photographs, descriptions, messages, reviews, or listings are removed.
Search visibility is reduced for a defined period due to quality or policy issues.
Limited features — for example, no new listings, no new bookings, or reduced messaging.
Temporary loss of access. Existing bookings may be handled under the Cancellation and Dispute Resolution policies.
Permanent removal from the Platform. Termination is reserved for serious or repeated breaches.
Withholding, refunding, or offsetting payouts, deposits, or fees to remedy harm or enforce policy.
Cancellation of an active or pending booking when necessary to protect safety or comply with policy.
Escalation to law enforcement, regulators, or other competent authorities where appropriate.
The specific measure applied in any case is determined by the Trust & Safety team in its reasonable discretion, guided by this Policy and the nature of the breach. We may combine measures (for example, content removal plus a warning, or suspension plus a financial hold).
Appeals and Reinstatement
Users may appeal enforcement decisions that affect their account, listing, content, or funds. An appeal must be submitted through the on the website appeals form or by email to safety@peercreators.com within 30 days of the decision.
An appeal must include:
- The specific decision being appealed;
- The grounds for the appeal, including any new evidence or corrected information;
- A clear statement of the requested outcome; and
- Any relevant supporting documents.
Appeals are reviewed by a different member of the Trust & Safety team from the one who made the original decision, where operationally feasible. We aim to respond to appeals within 10 Business Days. The appeal decision is final with respect to Platform enforcement, subject to the user's rights under applicable law and the dispute resolution provisions in the Terms of Use.
Reinstatement is available where the breach has been remedied, the risk has abated, or the original decision is overturned. Conditions for reinstatement may include completing training, providing updated verification, removing offending content, or paying outstanding amounts. Permanent termination is generally not reversed.
Only one appeal is permitted per enforcement decision, unless we invite a further submission.
Emergency Interim Actions
Where we reasonably believe that a User, listing, message, or transaction poses an imminent risk of harm, unlawful activity, or significant Platform abuse, we may take immediate interim action before completing a full investigation. Interim actions may include:
- Temporarily suspending an account or listing;
- Pausing a pending payout or placing a hold on funds;
- Removing or hiding content;
- Blocking a booking or transaction from proceeding; or
- Reporting the matter to law enforcement or regulators.
Interim actions are not a final decision. We will notify the affected User promptly, unless doing so would compromise safety, an investigation, or legal process. The User may appeal an interim action once a final decision is issued or, if no final decision is issued, after 30 days.
Frivolous Reports and Abuse of the Reporting System
We take reports seriously and investigate them in good faith. Submitting reports that are knowingly false, materially misleading, made for the purpose of harassment, or intended to abuse the reporting system is prohibited. Abuse of the reporting system may result in:
- Dismissal of the report without investigation;
- A warning or other enforcement action against the reporting User;
- Suspension or termination of the reporting User's account; and
- Referral to authorities or legal action where appropriate.
A report that is ultimately unsubstantiated is not, by itself, abuse. We consider intent, pattern, and the materiality of the false statements when determining whether abuse has occurred.
Confidentiality and Transparency
We treat reports, investigations, and enforcement actions as confidential. We do not disclose the reporter's identity to the reported party unless required by law, necessary to protect safety, or the reporter consents. Similarly, we do not publish the full reasoning behind every enforcement decision, to preserve fairness, safety, and legal process.
We will notify the affected User of the outcome of an investigation that results in account-level enforcement, including the type of enforcement and, where appropriate, the policy basis for the decision. We may provide a general summary of report trends and enforcement statistics for transparency purposes, but we will not identify individual Users or specific cases without consent.
Nothing in this section prevents us from disclosing information as required by law, to defend our rights, or to cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, or courts.
Legal Cooperation
Peer Creators cooperates with law enforcement, regulatory authorities, and courts in the UAE and other jurisdictions, subject to applicable law, data protection obligations, and valid legal process. We may preserve, produce, or disclose records, messages, and identity information where we are legally required to do so, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent serious harm, fraud, or unlawful activity.
Law enforcement or regulatory requests should be directed to legal@peercreators.com and must include sufficient detail to identify the requester, the legal basis, and the specific information requested. We review all requests for compliance with applicable law and our policies.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that are the subject of valid legal process, court orders, or regulatory direction, even if the underlying conduct would not otherwise breach Platform policy.
Amendments
Peer Creators may amend this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Policy on the Platform and updating the version number and effective date. The version in effect at the time of the report or incident will generally apply, unless the change is required by law or is clearly beneficial to the affected party.
For questions about this Policy, or to report a safety concern, please contact safety@peercreators.com.
